DDAVP spray (desmopressin) is used to treat diabetes insipidus or in surgery, injury, or other conditions where reduced urination is necessary. In children, this medication is used to control bed-wetting. Desmopressing works by making the kidneys produce less urine.
Desmopressin belongs to a class of medications called anti-diuretics.
